My first time in the darkroom today and my first ever print. Took a few goes to learn my way around it but very happy and I can see this being pretty addictive. May even restart project home darkroom again soon!

I don't even have a scan of this image.

It may be 54 years since my first print came out of the tray but it still has the same magic.

These are between 15 and 20 mm with a slight crop to get rid of some corner vignetting

Camera: Balda Baldina - 1936 vintage. Film: Agfa Vista+. The camera lens is not colour corrected - there was no point in 1936 - but it has no problems with rendering a colour image.

Finally got around to shooting a roll of Pan F+ that I've had in the fridge for years. Shot at New Lanark on a grey day at iso 25 and devved for 6 mins in ID11. Shot on Nikon F3 with 35-105 lens and tripod or leaning on the fence for the waterfall one.

FINALLY got a chance to use my newly purchased 10x8 camera. I only scanned the neg at 1200 DPI and it's just stunning to zoom in and still pick up details. Definitely can't wait to start shooting a few portraits with it (and making some huge prints of course).

HP5 + Ilfosol 3, 300mm, 1/8 @ f/22. A little tilt and swing to get the limbs further back within focus.

Loving this! Great shot!

Thank you. That and the photo below it in my post were taken in the same rather rustic bar we stopped at for a drink. I noticed him sitting behind me doing his crossword and thought it would make a nice photo. Had to set it up really quickly as I didn't want him to notice me so I was very happy when I got the film developed and saw it was in focus enough to be useable

2 rolls of film and I think only 1 or 2 usable shots. A struggle, but determined to practise!... Mamiya RB67, 50mm, Ilford SFX & 720nm IR filter... 60sec exposure @ f11
