Was at a rain soaked Hednesford on Sunday for the next round of the oval racing formula I'm involved in, I was in full wets and the camera got soaked, but once again it laughed at the conditions and didn't miss a beat all day. Not sure the photography was up to much though, think I'm losing my mojo, if I ever had any ...

Panning shot at parkrun today:

EM1II + 40-150 f/2.8 / CAF + Tracking: lower light levels seem to have a detrimental effect on the camera's tracking ability - not really surprising I guess:

brings back memories
used to go to stock car racing in the USA in 1953 as an 8 year old schoolboy
the smell was great...
the cars had a set of dust screens over the radiator and as each got clogged up it was released via a pull cord, and engine covers removed
the models were usually 1930's jalopies...they may have had brakes..
quite a few didnt finish the evenings race...
cheers
geof
