Non UK Berlin & Prague

Hi folks,

I’m going on a trip next month to Prague and Berlin. I have 4 days in each city.

Anyone have any must see recommendations?

Doesn’t have to be particularly photographable, I’m just getting an itinerary together [emoji23]

Can offer up some suggestions for Berlin, most of my interest is in the post war period.
Stasi museum at their old HQ is very interesting as is the Palace of Tears at Friedrichstrasse
Walking tours that start from outside the McDonalds at the Zoogarten station are an excellent way to see the city
Several topics to choose from, Google insider Berlin tours
Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag obviously, river boat trips seem popular too.
Checkpoint Charlie is very touristy, last bit of the wall is worth seeing for historical reasons, but not much left of it
Other smaller attractions such as the East German motorcycle museum at Alexanderplatz are worth searching out
Gaslit street lights in the Tiergarten make for nice night photo subjects, to be honest its a big city and too much to deal with here

Prague Old town very good and photogenic. Letna Park excellent if its a clear day climb the tower great views over Prague Petrin Park another firm favorite. Old town bridge but gets very busy early morning best for this one Prague Castle is worth a visit

Trams are good to ride around in but do not try and buy tickets. from the underground offices takes forever buy from your hotel reception.

Beer choice Dudek all the way!

Sundays, ride out to Mauerpark or go for a stroll on Unter den Linden
Museuminsel is worth a look, as is the Reichstag and surrounding area.
Around Alexanderplatz also worth a look.

Thank you all for the responses. I’m in Prague now and am planning a sunrise shoot over Charles bridge. Hopefully will beat the crowds as it was packed today.

Got a couple of shots on our strolls though.
