I come from China and I am an postgraduate student in Leicester now.
I love street photography sooooo much and have been insisting taking photos for about four years.
Own Sony a7r2 and a couple lenses (fe35 1.4/12 2.8),and I also have Sony rx100m3 which is convenient to carry everywhere.

Hello. Its quite late at night so you may not get many replies to your introduction email.

What made you want to start photography? What things do you like to take pictures of?
I have a friend who lived in China for a few years and who then moved to the UK with her Chinese husband. She said he had become a keen photographer after his first visit to the UK. Apparently the clouds here are very different to the area he was brought up in, so his camera became full of cloud photos. I can understand that as pictures of USA storms are very different to here. I imagine he has now progressed to baby photos as they have thier first child ::)

Is Leicester nice? I have never been there.

I hope you enjoy this forum. There are some really nice and helpful people here.

well street photography is my favorite,also I like to take pictures of landscape,food etc.I love the conbination of light and shadow,composition and colours.They are fantastic and I'm addicted to them. Leicester is a small city but it is so great : )

just reply in the box below the series of posts (the one with a toolbar that starts B I U...)

don't press the "report" link under each post, like you have done with a couple of posts earlier, because that goes straight to the staff-room rather than into the thread for all to see...

I'll just go back to the staffroom now and remove those report posts that you didn't mean to make :)
