What a great atmospheric set of images. Really like these. Thanks for sharing
The first one is my favourite, a real classic. I'd be tempted to try cropping top and bottom

I was tempted but I took them specifically in SQ format, I was comparing with some shots I took with my Bronica SQ-Ai but they were colour.

The large TIFFs are sharp, keep in mind the sky is moving and the exposure is 1/20th sec, sky is how it was I've just converted to B&W but you have to down-res so much to post on here.

OK, point taken but in that case I'd crop off the dark part of the sky.
Wouldn't have thought that 1/20th sec would have that effect on the clouds.
Think you may have down-ressed them a bit too much?
