I think its fair to say you absolutely nailed this one John, awesome light, great eye contact, perfect framing, and that's before you even consider its a leopard!!

One for the wall me thinks

Thank you for your comments gents - we decided to stay and watch this as the sun set rather than go after hyenas on an old kill - amazing just to watch such an elegant animal in great light! I think I could do more than supper!!
 
Wow! What a beautiful image. Evening light, eye contact, highlights in the eyes, DOF - all great. I like seeing the trees (great texture) and rock around the cat.
Well done.

Correct, she is about 10 months old, got her the next day practicing her hunting skills on a squirrel stuck up a small tree. The only sharp photo mosses her top half, the rest are blurry and the squirrel lived for another day. Taken In Botswana, Okavango delta.
