Halcyon.

Lovely colours, but for some reason it's not quite working for me. Possibly all a bit too "busy".

Thank you Patrick, appreciate the comment.

I think it maybe it needs a proper focal point, apart from the brighter, more colourful trees to the right, it doesn't really have one.

Nice shot, I like the composition. Could be my eyes / monitor but looks a little underexposed to me? Thoughts?

I'm not sure, maybe could be a little brighter. I'll revist that part of the processing. (y)

Thanks Alf, a bit different from the big scapes I thought.

I do like this too, looks like a nice painting. Would of been a cracking shot if you`d had something to focus on in the frame.

Thanks. I agree about the focal point, the brighter trees towards the right are the strongest part of the image in that respect. It maybe needs a kingfisher. ;)

It’s nice as it is but I think there’s two intimate shots in this, one with the focal point of the prominent silver birch tree on the left side, and the other with the leaning birch on the right

I like this, although it hasn't got a main subject to focus on I like the feel of it, almost like a painting

thank you Richard.

Thanks. The look and feel to it is what attracted me to the spot, it just looked nice to the naked eye and very different for me.

I like this Dale, lack of focal point isnt always a bad thing, looks very painterly.

Cheers Neil. Gnarly woods this weekend, praying for some mist.
