A local Film Processing Lab is closing down and I know the Technician quite well -- so I told him I was out of C41 developer and he kindly gave me a set A.B and C of Fuji Hunt ' Econoneg Developer Replenisher LR' and some 'Starter' to make the working developer . I carefully measured out the amounts to make 500 mls as a 'test' and did a C41 process in a Paterson Tank when the chemicals are really designed for an expensive machine BUT I got good-looking negs ! The real test is how they 'Scan 'and 'Print' -- using my Canon 9000F Mk II + Vuescan Pro + FastStone Image Viewer I found they scanned with a slight Cyan bias and some a bit 'dark' but easily corrected in FastStone.

CAMERA was my 'Saved From The Dump' YASHICA FR-1 + Zeiss 50mm f1.4 Planar T*. The indoor ones were with a Sunpak auto 36FD flash

I have now tested a B&W 'Chromogenic' film with these C41 Chemicals -- a 02/2007 dated Ilford XP2 400 Super rated 250 ASA in my 1962 Rolleicord Vb with 75mm f3.5 Schneider 'Xenar' lens in dull light -- negs came out with a bit of 'Fog Level ' due to age of film BUT scanned well and I think will Print well !
I got 1/125 @ f6.3 in the dull light

Yep, they look great, the colours are nice and rich... are you having to correct any colour shift at all?

Different films scan slightly differently -- with this old film I found the initial scans were a bit Cyan so I had to correct in Levels R G and B channels in FastStone Image Viewer.
