The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Hoping someone might know the answer to this.
I was trying out the X-T3 in camera raw conversion & it does a good job.
Is there a way to batch process say a dozen files in camera or not.:)

When I do close up street now I tend to use the screen only, as I put across that I`m just playing with settings and click. X-H1 + XF35mm f2.

Very nice candid street style Fujigraph, liking this shot very much.

Fuji still have the best customer service. I remember being treated very well when I last had a Fuji camera, a few years ago, and now is no different.

I have just bought a second hand X-T3 which only had the slide on 2 pin adapter for the charger and was missing the slide on UK 3 pin plug adapter. I knew this when I bought it and its not a problem at all, the battery can be charge via USB or via a travel plug 2 pin to 3 pin (not ideal but works just fine).

I contacted Fuji this moning to ask what the part number was for this and how much it would be/where I could purchase one from. Fujis response, within the hour was "we do not sell this part but please supply your address and we will send one to you free of charge".

Well done Fuji yet again, you are the best.

Many thanks. I'm pleased with it as she is refusing to have her photo taken. Only fired off 3 shots.

Just a lightroom edit. Astia film Sim and edited from there.
Thanks, so was it shot in JPEG and tweaked?

Has anyone tried the 1.4 and 2x TC's and can comment on IQ and AF speed please?

Also, for those that have bought from the Fuji refurb store what has the general cosmetic condition of the gear been like, and have you had any issues selling the gear at a later date?

I dont know about the TCs but I've bought a few refurbs from them over years, all have been indestinguishable from new apart from the box they have come in. Never had any problems selling on, in fact the refurbs are quite often cheaper than buying second hand in the first place so its a no brainer really. Wouldnt have any qualms about buying from them again.

In my case looked like new, everything in the box that would have been if I'd bought new, except the boxes were generic (X-T20 and XF23mm F2). I don't know anyone who has had an issue and if they have then Fuji would have sorted it out). I have no hesitation in buying from them again.

I've used the 1.4 tc on both the 50-140 and 100-400. This was on the t1 and t2 and I noticed no loss in af performance and the image quality didn't seem to be effected. I think the x2 tc does soften things up a bit.

I've had mixed experience with the refurb store. Most things have arrived looking like new, but once had a lens that was DOA.

I bought my X10 from the refurb shop years back, was as new. I often think you're better off buying from the refurb shop as all the stuff is checked over when it gets back to Fuji. Less chance of getting a 'friday afternoon lens' by my way of thinking. I'm hoping for a refurb sale soon as I'm so close to pulling the trigger on the 18-135 as one lens walkabout solution. A nice 10% off would tip me over the edge.

I presume that it got sorted pretty quickly though, I'd be very suprised if it wasnt?

The 18-135mm is very underated IMO. Hardly any difference in IQ if any at all over the 18-55mm and that gets high praise.

I have the 1.4 and use it on my 50-140 and 100-400mm lenses. I cannot discern any difference whatsoever in IQ or focus speed.

I have bought many cameras and lenses off the Fuji Refurb store and each one has been received in 'as new condition'. My recent X-Pro2 in graphite must have been taken out of the standard box and re-packed in the generic refurb box. It was brand spanking unmarked new, the accessories were still in their sealed bags as were the manuals/CD. It saved me a staggering £750.

When I have had to contact the store I have been delighted at their courteous and very professional service; a lost battery grip contact cover from an X-T3 was sent FOC with compliments.

The only thing to be aware of is that the warranty is 1 year and a generic box will be used (though an X-Pro1 and an X-E2 were sent in the original boxes).

I have sold previous refurb cameras and lenses to MPB amongst others, and have never had a problem.

I've got the 1.4TC on my 100-400, images are great at 560mm wide open.

Shot at 540mm f8 on a T2...

It's not the fastest thing to focus with the 1.4, but once you have acquired the target, it does track OK.

I have used the refurb store a few times, would worry about doing it again, in fact I probably will....

For those XF lenses that lack an engraved set of aperture markings: would it be feasible + effective to put some small marks (tippex, etc) as visual indicators?

Or is that aperture control ring free-spinning?

Used the fuji refurb site 4 or 5 times, all looked as new. Had a problem with one camera upon delivery, returned and full refund within a few days. Would not hesitate to use refurb site again, once gas sets in and time to sell on the refurb box may put some buyers off?
