Did you find it ie the thread about twitchers in glos...curious I am.... if so pop me a link up pleaseIt isn't possible to control every area. Our advice has been to tape play areas off, and photograph it to prove you have.
The world is full of idiots. I'm off on here to find a thread about the twitchers that today descended on Gloucestershire to photograph some kid of bird.

I don't see anyone at all Roger the joys of being a country boy living in a humble gaff 3 neibours, surrounded by fields. With so many so vunerable including my lady I don't want to do anything to create more problems than we already have Just wanted to check it was still in gov guidelines

and some 'authorities' now saying it might be 6 months before we even start on the road back to normal! One week today since we last went out thanks to my daughter in law.
Wild life in general may have a better year with parks etc not being so busy.
The first week has shown me how expensive its going to be, being retired we would shop a few times a week buying at different shops, one example is grapes my stepdaughter bought todays at Tesco £2 a tub we would buy at asda £1 a tub but we are just grateful someone is doing it for us
Home delivery slots. Thanks but due to age and condition we dont go out, my stepdaughter is a team manager for an NHS group so she gets in on the early shopping etc
My wife said she tried yesterday and there seems to be some sort of check after that. Of course I failed as I'm only 65Just checked and it's just an 'are you/aren't you a pensioner' selection ... unsurprisingly no slots available, will keep an eye out though
No worry's buddy but thanks so much for the comeback. This happened quite local to me hence my curiosityHi stu, sorry, just seen this post, and I see gramps put up a link.
Strangely, for this thread, the call for over 70's to self isolate didn't actually come
Anyone in any category should take it seriously, this is not a game! We are basically on a war footing, the problem is we can't see the enemy, so the only answer is to avoid contact with anyone or anything outside the home, as they present a risk. Yes it's hard, yes it's inconvenient, and yes it's boring, but if everyone adhered to this mindset it can significantly reduce if not eliminate infection, and the sooner everyone grasps that, the sooner we can all get back to normal.
It needs to be connected by a gas safe registered installer.Well, unfortunately, our oven still doesn't work after fitting a new element so it's time to change it. It's dual fuel - can I install it legally myself? Quite competent in my own ability and I am very safety conscious. As far as I can see a 'qualified' person is only needed if a new circuit or gas line is fitted.
The trouble is if everyone isolates (I know that's not likely) and we reduce the risk of infection in the UK to zero (again highly unlikely) then very few people will have any immunity consequently when re-infection starts all those people with no immunity will once again be at risk unless there's a vaccine. Bottom line is we need to get a mild dose and survive it or go to hospital (where the NHS isn't overwhelmed, hopefully) and survive that if no vaccine is available, what a dreadful choice.Anyone in any category should take it seriously, this is not a game! When my Dad got a new gas cooker recently (couple of years back) he couldnt get hold of a flexible to connect the solid pipe to the cooker, his existing one didnt fit, so he had to get a GasSafe qualified person in.Well, unfortunately, our oven still doesn't work after fitting a new element so it's time to change it.
