Dog Appreciation Thread, post your fave dog shots here...

A couple from a recent walk in cairngorms. Skye is off-lead now, although she cannot be trusted if sheep are about - luckily she was on lead at that point. A river in spate is also a very interesting thing. Doubt she's seen either before.

Very beautiful dog! Our puppy is 38 weeks old and she was off -lead walking for a while with excellent recall until one time she saw a hare in the wood and went chasing.........we lost her for 2 mins but scared the s*** out of us! I don't know how to stop her chasing, lol

That dog must have some energy.... The power of the Husky and the brain of a GSD, must be brilliant to work with.
She's not mine but I know she went missing for about twenty chasing a deer! Poor deer, that's what I say. :)

Working from home has its perks, been messing about with my new lens of a lunchtime and decided to get some shots of the dogs in the garden yesterday. Also took it as a chance to try the 3d tracking focus on the d750 after never really bothering before, missed focus lots of times (as seen in the first shot, but i like the photo so kept it in the set). Incidentally Woody (the one with the ball) doesn't like football on telly, apparently though he has a new hobby...

Our crossed red fell terrier really likes the sun, even including lying out in it during the summer while panting like crazy.
As the non terrier part of this lineage we feel sure had longer legs he jumps very well. This is where I found him today. He'd jumped on to the desk Mrs Tringa uses for art and other craft work so he could soak up some rays.

Meet Molly the mad sprocker

I thought I would add a couple of our old girl, Molly. She is a 14 year old Husky-x-Labrador and very definitely showing her age these days.
The first one was from 2016

And this one is from last summer

I must try to get some more whilst I'm on furlough and the weather is nice and sunny. There won't be any action shots though unless I can get her heading for her food bowl. Even the squirrels that come into the garden have worked out that she isn't going to chase them :)
