We went for an evening traverse of the Malvern hills a few days ago, which meant I got another chance to do some sunset photography. As we had to get to the end we couldn’t wait for sunset where I wanted to, but it did mean we got away from the crowds near Worcestershire Beacon, where there was no social distancing occurring, and even a group sharing 2 shisha pipes.
I had bracketed my exposures, but forgot about the impact of the wind so only my -2stops exposure images were usable as the gorse was blurry in 0 and +2 stops. They seemed to push OKish, but I am sure would have been better if I was able to blend the exposures. I also don’t like the proximity of the top of the gorse bush to the horizon, I did correct this but didn’t end up with a usable photo having changed the composition.
Really happy for any c&c, trying to improve both composition and editing.
