Lightning in Brighton

"The Dragon and the Pier"

Two nights ago I made it to Brighton at 3am in time to see the lightning show. Although things went wrong, broken remote shutter release and loose tripod plate, I still managed to take a few nice photos.
I particularly like this one as for some reason the lightning looks like a dragon...or maybe it's just me

Thank you very much Les. I was a bit panicky about getting the exposure right but after some adjustments I got it.

Nice shot but 'Sea Horse and the Pier' might have been more appropriate not that it matters much.

Beautiful. They say dragons were actually man's interpretation of severe lightning phenomena in our ancient skies (more intense than modern times).
