Yes
I recently bought the Tamron SP f2.5 90mm ,it has some dust and a wee bit of hazing which is only really noticeable shooting into bright conditions, apart from that I love the lens . Can anyone give me an idea of the cost to have it cleaned ,or would anyone on here give it a go (I'd pay of course ).

Just a quick thought......based on the conditions/situations you notice the 'presence' of the dust creating a haze in the images, have you tried a lens hood to see if that makes a difference?

Yes I have a lens hood, in some situations there is still evidence of the slight hazing. The hazing isn't terrible just noticeable sometimes. IMG_20200712_100109.jpg

There is a massive difference between cleaning an old lens and a modern one. old lens like your Tameron 90mm will only contain a few elements in a very simple mount.
Modern lenses are complex in every way and beyond the skill level, equipment and knowledge of many repair shops.
There is also the problem of the softness of some old coatings.
A repairer would probably not want to risk giving a fixed estimate on cleaning an old lens. it could be a nest of worms.

Well, he does use a Cannon so the dishwasher treatment can only improve things... :p
