Comet Neowise, Stonehenge

Yes
I took a gamble and drove over 2 and a half hours to Stonehenge to try and photograph the Comet Neowise, I had seen a few photos and it was definitely one I wanted for myself.
Long trip made hard but the fact the clouds covered all the sky, at some point I even thought of turning around and driving back home. Luckily once I got to Stonehenge, the clouds started moving on and by the time to comet was visible we had clear skies

It was well worth the trip, I met some amazing photographers there, great fun atmosphere...and witnessing the comet pass over Stonehenge was amazing.

Give us sme technical info - is it two exposures?
Are the stones lit by light pollution.
To make the comet appear so large must be big zoom surely.
Here we've had one night clear enough to see it and it was a hard to see smudge in the glare from sun just below northern horizon.

What time was this taken I went out last night but there was a low bank of cloud on the horizon and not sure if it covered it or what elevation it rises to

Great shot!

I was planning to go out early this morning for it, but slept through my alarm.

Great capture. Was that taken from the roadside on the A303?

I may try this evening as I'm only 20 minutes from Stonehenge.

Excellent :)
