In this day and age of the amazing mobile phone cameras and multiple lenses ;). why then are the companies who make the the cases that most of us buy along with glass screen protectors don't make cases with protection for the lenses. In the image below you can see a tab that can be pulled out to prop up the phone ,how hard would it be to have a similar flap to protect the lens . Are there any cases out there that do this .

I have that same case on a Galaxy S9+ and it's damned annoying isn't it? :banghead:

I've yet to see one with a cover, but the only problem I've found is fingerprints as the lens is at least recessed.

I work in a dirty environment and need to be careful where I store my phone. I don't think it would be that hard to incorporate a flap of some sort.

Well spotted Marc, they may be listening to customers after all. Sadly, not to fit mine. :(

It's the s10 I have, unfortunately can't seem to find one for the s10

I blame the beancounters - it probably saves £0.00000000000001 per unit.

I'm going to guess it would be a bit more than that. Adding a moving part to a case is always going to be relatively expensive. But the real cost in these cases is that the manufacturers never leave anything alone.

You already need a different case for the S8, S8+, S9, S9 hybrid, S10, S10e, S10 lite, S10+ - and that's just one range. Factor in designing, testing and assembling an extra moving part and it's going to get awkward. The Spigen kickstand is easy because it's always in the same place. On my case there's a rubber housing for the phone and a plastic plate with the kickstand on. I bet the plastic plate is the same for all phones - the rubber basically adapts the phone to fit. But with the camera moving all the time that simple won't work.

Also, the lens is right next to the fingerprint sensor......
