OK the lot is going up now, but photos will be later as I`m on/off the phone a lot today.

Looks like it was party time in the "For Sale" section, Dave .... I`m just glad you listed them when you did ;) You just need to shift that bloody 35 now lol

Mustn`t look, mustn`t.

Just a simple candid street style Fujigraph taken at The South Bank London UK of some children chasing a bubble from a street performer.

Isn’t that the idea :D

Not for me thanks! Jigsaw puzzles do my brain in :ROFLMAO: Our next door neighbour sent one in for our girls during lock down, she even added a roll mat for it so you can roll it up between sessions ... it's 1500 pc and of Santa Claus sat by the fire .... this was in April  I have to pretend every time I see her now that they have started it ... she's going to ask to see the result at some point Arrrrgh

Quick question on A/F - X-T3 + 35mm f/2
On a recent shoot I've had an significant number of oof shots, I don't recall there being issues with the camera not claiming to have achieved focus.

Given that this is mirrorless with the focus being determined by the sensor, is it possible that the lens could be reporting focus whilst not actually being spot on? I didn't think that was possible...
I do recall the lens getting a bit of a knock recently.
Or have I simply forgotten how to focus the camera during lockdown!!!

Never had any thing like that when using my T3 + 35 f2.

Slippery Slope........................ [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

Since lockdown my style of photography has changed, and I've been giving a lot of thought to gear selection - probably too much time on my hands - and the GFX has come back on the radar, I need to face that it is an itch that will have to be scratched in order to go away! But I'm loving using the GSW690III - got some more rolls that need to be processed, and I'm also loving the lightweight freedom of the X100F - difficult decisions ahead. Most of my work uses lens in the FF focal length of 24mm to 50mm so the 32-64 would actually fit the bill quite well - but having had one on loan for 10 days with a GFX50S previously I also know that its quite big setup.

Been offered a Leica Q at a good price (s/h)........................................

Current Thoughts

X100F - its a keeper and its so beaten up its really not worth selling (and its camera I don't mind getting abused)
Leica Q
X-H1 +XF16mm + Zeiss32mm + XF90mm
STX-1N + 50mm
GSW690III

But my wife likes her X-T20 and likes the 23mm F2, 18-55 and 55-200 so that doesn't actually leave a lot of gear that could be sold

Its actually been great writing this post as its starting to clarify things....I think......I really like fixed lens cameras, so maybe, just maybe, I should get rid of my Fuji ILC stuff, keep the wife's and change the Q to a Q2... its a big investment 50R+Lens type investment, but is smaller size means it will get used more, and being a Leica won't depreciate like a stone if it doesn't work out, but then again maybe I should buy the s/h Q and try it...........................

Or maybe stop looking at gear and just go out and use what I've got!
Defiantly the last bit.
Could always just keep the X100f plus converters and then just add the GFX and the 32-64 or whatever it is.

On a side note I seem to have acquired a X100v wonder how that happened [emoji848].
Now do I need the converters [emoji1787]

Yes you do. Black ones, Mk1's with a sugru magnet mod. You also need a Godox V350F used only on 1 occassion and a Tenba cooper 8 bag. And you may as well get a Godox X2Tf so you can use the flash off camera.

Just so happens that I've just taken photos of all of these and debating whether to keep them or put an ad up

Is your afc set to release instead of focus?

Lol already have the Godox but if you do sell the converters I could well be intrested price depending of course. The [emoji16]

That would be my advice. I’ve scratched a number of expensive itches over the past 12 months and the soothing of the itch isn’t necessarily any better than having the itch and living with It :sneaky:

Its ok, I've given myself a good talking to (probably last a few hours :ROFLMAO: )

Another from yesterday

Good morning ladies and gents, do any of you know where I can purchase a flash synch terminal cover for an XT3, I think they are the same across all the XTs. Its the little round cover on the front top right of the camera. I found the cover kit but only need the round one. Thanks

This little guy...

PM me your details, I'll drop one in the post (I have a spare)

Some helpful advice needed. I run Sony as my main camera but find it’s not very portable for street.
Used to run Olympus and had a Pen F as my carry around.

Tried the A6500 but still heavy on the lens front. Also don’t like the ergonomics of the A6

So I was looking at the following options and can’t decide.

Fuji X100f
Fuji X-E3 with 23mm f2
Fuji X-T30 with 23mm f2

(Canon M6 Mark ii with 22mm f2.8)

it’s probably more about budget. I don’t want to spend more than £550 to £600.

some crazy pricing with 2nd hand X100f’s asking £700-£800.

I worry I will want couple of lenses even for a carry system e.g. 35mm & 50mm equivalent if I go down the root of fixed lens. But the X100F is the cheaper alternative - but older. Just want something that I can drop in a bag every time I go out.

Anyone else gone through similar decision making process?
Thanks

A 23 f2 will cost about £279 grey so that doesn't leave much out of the £600 for the camera. I would go the X-T30 / XF23 f2 route as it's a better bet than the X-E3 but it'll be more than £600 unless you get a good s/h deal

Refurbished x-e3’s from the Fuji shop are 300.
refurb 23mm f2 lens is 319.
an alternative would be the 27mm 2.8 pancake @ 279.
Buying used on this forum is usually best. 27mm’s have been going for quite a bit less on here.
the x-e3 and 27mm combo is smaller than the x100v.
