The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Thank god for dual card slots.

I've been out shooting, 327 files on my card, and I can't read any of them. Luckily, my backup seems fine.

Phew......

Oh, that's nice. I like a good ruin.

I visited a, fairly, local farm today. they had planted 7,000,000 (yes 7 million) sunflowers, just to keep the ground from becoming weed ridden. They have an open weekend and are charging people to get in and to grab some stems, with all proceeds going to a local cancer charity. It's an amazing sight to see so many sunflowers all together. Here are a bunch of the images I got today. All taken on my X-Pro2 with XF 16-55 lens. Hope you like them ...

Well, I hope this works. This is just playing around really and experimenting with custom modes. It's the remains of an old castle atop a motte and bailey at Kilpeck.

I can see that it did. But blimey, it's a big one. Mind you I hadn't realised there was so much detail in it.

Very nice close up Fujigraph Paul, really liking the composition and the way the two smaller oof mush's bring emphasis to the larger one.

George.

I know that problem.... With damaged medial ligaments in my knees and an iffy back, getting down is easy, it's the getting back up that's slow, awkward and painful :(

Haha well I am 60, so bits will start wearing out I guess, Hey ho ;)

When I lost my sister to Covid, the rose bush in our garden came into bloom; very poignant as she loved pink, and roses. So I now look upon that plant as "Ann's Rose". I cut it back a couple of months ago as the heads had gone, and it's now blooming for a 2nd time this year. A bit like her, it won't give up and doesn't know when it's beaten....

Edit: Sorry the emotion got to me a little while I was writing that. Taken on the T3, with the 90mm (God I love that lens) @ f11, 1/250th and a 300W studio strobe turned right down. low.

Does anyone here use a soft release button with their Fuji? Mine keeps falling off, no matter how much I tighten it. Which one do you use?

Never had any issues with mine, on the T2

Marc, I had exactly the same problem with my X-T2 and a soft release button, so what I did was to wrap a tiny bit of "Blue Tack" around the thread of the soft release and then screw it down. Never had the same problem since.

George.
