Quiraing / Staffin Cloud Inversion

Nice tones in all three, but number 1 is the image of the set for me, I like seeing some of Staffin under the cloud, it gives the scene some context for me.

Aye - I wasn't sad to see it appear. It's next years LPOTY entrant. It was a weird morning. Good looking to Torridon, naff all Skye over the Cleat, Trotternish ridge which was the original plan.

It's always a nice view over onto the Torridon hills though, and with the inversion it makes it a lot better image than without it. Low cloud is better than no cloud ;P

A hell of a lot better mate - in a way it's a shot I've wanted for a long time and always meant to take driving along north of the Storr but before Staffin so I got my luck. I enjoy cloud inversions - they are good fun for sure. I went back the next day and got a much more typical for me style shot.

Nice tones and a nice set Steve but 1 with the above and below is great.

1 might have a chance but we need to see more clearly into the valley in the bottom part. Up the exposure a stop or so there.
You'll probably have to make more sky as it needs to divide into perfect 3rds.
