Is this the point you stop ...?Crow T Cat w/EOS-1v and HP5 Plus at 6400.
stop
Cracking sharpness. Great depth to it too.
I think the dark shadows work in this instance, making the foreground tree stand out ... but with Fomapan in a dark forest I wonder if reciprocity failure could be the issue ?Another underexposed woodland shot that kinda still works despite my metering cock-up. I'm not sure why I managed to get the metering wrong on this (and other shots taken during the same session). All the non-woodland images are fine and I've not had problems incident metering in these conditions before, I suspect operator error...

After a long old wait to develop a small stack of B&W, I finally got round to doing it. There is a colour version of this one as well waiting to be sent to peak, but I really like the B&W version.

I would call that low key rather than underexposed.Another underexposed woodland shot that kinda still works despite my metering cock-up. Nah, that’s a cracker too!To bring the standard back down here's my offering of the day.
Ready to be ink jet printed tomorrow.
I may well wet print the original scene too which includes a house bottom right corner, which was purposely placed in the scene for scale ( see shared outings thread) but having noticed that there is also a derelict building in that area of the scene, this result with the removal of the modern house appeals more ( for this eveing anyway)

That really is a cracker! Beautiful..
It's not just black ones. Our cats all look at me like they want to murder me most of the time. I'm sure they've got a great plan worked out. But until they get opposable thumbs they're stuck with meWhat is it about all black cats
That has pushed extremely well.
I have yet to try my new mix of hp5 pushed in id11

Something about that really works for me, I guess it's helped by the frost on the grass giving contrast to the log and then the standing trees in the background

Looks like you are starting a "beyond the horizon" project @FishyFish and I really like it.
