Me and the missus watch The Chase game show, and we always play guess the age. The first contestant up, we were mile out. Don't suppose anyone else watches it and guesses the age, before the contestant says their age? We got the first contestants age massively wrong.

We don't try to guess the age of the contestants ,we just at try to get the right answers and see if we think the Chaser or the contestants..in the final..will win. It's better than Pointless, on at the same time but BBC as you'll probably know. It's an apt name for it.lol

We both watch pointless, and we always argue if we would have gone for the trade. Missus likes the new Lingo show, I find it irritating for some reason.
 
We watch pointless as neither of us particularly like Bradley Walsh....
We only try and answer the questions though....

Yes.. Now you mention it I'm not too keen on Bradley Walsh either..just ok. Bit cheesy if that's the right expression.We don't watch the series of travel when he goes with his son. It's poor viewing and viewers pretty well learn zilch.I watched two episodes when they were in the US. I think they're doing another series eleswhere. It's almost like 'jobs for the boys'.

What irritates me with Pointless.. albeit rather trivial..lol is along with Alexander Armstrong's 'smile' ..'and if you win what will you do with the money ?' The same question is asked of the Chase contestants too. I'm looking forward to someone saying. 'I'll put it on deposit with my bank'. He's a very good singer btw. Bass Baritone.

I sometimes get an image of the programme-makers sitting in a room at the top of their respective buildings dreaming up off-the-wall games for the next series. I never lose sight of the fact that they are neither short of applicants nor viewers :)

I see the top slot goes to..er...The Chase (average viewer number 3.2 million)despite Bradley...lol Pointless at 7th and the worst according to this list is Tipping Point.

I also quite like catchphrase. We watch that with the grandkids (covid permitting)as they love it.
We've started watching the new Michael Mcintyre quiz with the wheel and quite enjoy that, and it's a decent prize unlike the £2k pointless prize.
There's a music quiz called the hit list that we watch too.....
 
Countdown for me. Usually in the top 2 every programme.

He's very good at what he does but I have to say that I find his voice very irritating.

If it is the same person who struts up and down the stage, while holding the microphone. Slightly annoys me too, so never watch him.
 
We love the chase, also have you seen the new "breaking Dad" with him and his son, hilarious.

I watched one episode when they were somewhere in the US and wasn't too impressed.I think it was because they were trying this and that..eg riding a bucking bronco and failing.

The motorhome was impressive,though.
