My favourites from 2 clear nights out over the last couple of weeks. Loved getting out again to shoot the stars after lockdown.

Well known locations along the cliff tops at beach head and cuckmere haven. I didn't enjoy creeping up to the cliff for the lighthouse shot with all my torches blazing so I could see the edge

I've wanted to shoot Belle Tout lighthouse before but it was only this occasion when I arrived in the middle of the night to find the internal lights turned down enough to be able to take a shot. It's still a blend of 2 exposures, one for the stars and one for the lighthouse.

Image #2 taken with the Rokinon 14mm f2.4, ISO 6400 20 sec a stack of 4 images.

All the rest taken with Tamron 24-70 @24mm, f2.8, ISO 10000, 13 seconds stacks of 4 processed in sequator. Belle tout shot with a single exposure for the foreground at the same apperture and exposure, ISO 2000.

I really enjoy this stretch of coast and will hopefully go back if we have clear skies again in May.

Belle Tout, excellent ;)

Nice work! Me & my boy managed to get out early hours Friday morning (easier as it's school holidays for him) & that was our first time since on holiday in Dorset last summer!

It was great to get out, although I did a little astro in our local park in lock down, I really enjoyed being able to travel to a location and seeing the milky way agaon. We've been really lucky with the skies the last couple of weeks!! Hopefully May is a productive!

Fingers crossed indeed. It's not the best, but we have the Mendip Hills about 30 minutes drive so can't really complain. I went out this time to give more thought to the foregrounds & lighting/exposing them separately - didn't help that I forgot my remote so was limited to 30 seconds....... Still not 100% happy but that's what this game is all about right? ;)

Hi Alan, I didn't know you were in here too!
That's a great set of images, excellent work.

...oh, I'm Pablo by the way:)
