Flying on the edge

A thunderstorm came over and the rain was torrential. I recognised the potential, grabbed the box and dived into the car and drove to the outskirts and that gave me an idea of a focal point that would be set off by the rolling thunder clouds. I was right on the edge of the storm, but it was retreating to the NW, so away from me, I was confident I was safe enough to fly. The result is straight out of the camera nd just the jpeg the drone churns out, not a panoramic from the RAWs, I have that to do yet, so I should be able to raise the details, but it will give you an idea, I've only been home 10 minutes. A stiff Barra gin is calming my nerves, 4-fingers! (To get it to load had to go down to 3Sudbury-Hall.pano.LR-0317.jpg% quality at 72ppi. The original RAWs total 837MB!)

Looks like you had a fantastic photo opportunity there Simon - well done for making the most of it.

Thanks with your help in how to get it to load on here. It is totally alien to me to reduce quality having spent my entire photographic life trying to produce the best quality possible. :)
