Spyder 3 Pro and Windows 10

I have just been to the Displaycal site but the download wont work. I did use it last night but it would not see the spyder either. The spyder icon actually shows in the tray and the blue light sometimes comes on so seems to be alive

    Which Laptop to Buy ?

Yeah I am pleased I never went for the MSI - it looks like it will be the HP Omen which has an IPS screen and is an excellent laptop (apparently) but its colour range is not as good as the MSI

    Which Laptop to Buy ?

Thanks for that. I have a HP at the moment and it's been good to be honest but it's getting old and slow now. I had decided on the msi as it has great reviews and good color range but it's TN screen and I read TN is no good for editing. My present laptop is an ips screen

    Which Laptop to Buy ?

Yeah my wife gets them at a good price - why are the Dell computers so much better than the MSI and HP I mentioned ?

    Which Laptop to Buy ?

Yes I read the IPS has a lot better viewing angles. I at first thought the MSI was the one to go for as it has 16 GB Ram and apparently excellent colour range of 99% sRGB and I think 85 adobe. Then I read it has a TN screen and they are a no-no for photo editing. So I thought OK then its the...

    Which Laptop to Buy ?

I have a laptop at the moment and I know some don't like laptops for photo editing but I have used one for years with no problem. My wife (nurse) has a chance of a laptop with her work and the best choices I can see on there are below but I cannot decide between them. They are both powerful...

    Anyone used Tryilo ?

I was contacted a while ago from a company called Tryilo to borrow or rent equipment. Just wondered if it would be worth it to rent unused gear ? Or is it a horror story :cautious: https://tryilo.com

Any metal detecor enthusiasts on here ?

Thank you for that link Crikey things are more complicated with metal detecting then when I was a kid. Some on that thread saying you need to spend at least £500 on one I had a really cheap machine and found loads of stuff. Coins, pen knives etc... Great fun !! Maybe different now

You will never win a fight with a car and no amount of gadgets would stop me from being very aware of them. I have had a bike computer for years and I certainly don't stare at it just glance when needed and I still soak up all the scenery. Just with the maps I might find new routes for new...
