Save yourself £2k+ and get the lens you want attached to a camera for £599.
You wanted the best value Leica.....you will never beat this!
I did state in original post to get a used one. They mostly are in perfect condition and it's a cheap way into Leica. Almost all reviews state how amazing g the lens is on this camera. It's not good for low light but for general use in normal conditions it's right up there with the best Leica...
As stayed before- Leica xVario . Its better than the T with the equivalent lens and more than twice as cheap.
'unlike the Panasonic rebadges, this one really does feel like and carry the DNA of a Leica. '
Leica Xvario. Hold their second hand value if you decide it's not for you. Good ones you can get for around £750 including all original packaging etc. You can get cheaper but if they are fully boxed they keep their resell value.
I have a Pixel and when out in good light there is simply no need for a camera if you are just taking snapshots. And who needs these triple and quad lens phones. Just let the Google software do all the magic!
As stated previously buy a first generation Google pixel or pixel XL. You can add in the portrait mode that was added on the pixel 2 and it's just been updated with the Google nightsite mode. You can get these for under £175 and they smoke any other camera and all from a single lens.
I traded my S towards and X and I was not blown away. Your gonna have to sit pretty close to your 4k tv to notice anything. Yeah it's powerful and the enhanced games look good but to be honest I wouldn't upgrade if I could go back in time.
GX80 sensor without AA filter is just as good if not better than the 20 mp sensor and had a great shutter. Great size and currently £50 cash back. In day to day use no real difference between most of the sensors these days .
Is anyone using the 4k photo mode at the moment? Just looking to see a few sample shots if possible of moving subjects and the quality of the selected images from this mode. Just wondering if the quality is ok for normal printing sizes. Thanks in advance if anyone can post some examples.
And it's ok to say that if you can flip the cameras to break even or just a small loss or even profit that this somehow justifies the addiction. But what about all the actual ' real time' that is wasted by doing this.
I used to be like the rest of you and it took me a long time to realise I had...
GAD should stand for gear acquisition denial. There is nothing wrong with any of the cameras these days. The problem is the release of endorphins that you get when you think you find a ''bargain' or when your new camera is delivered. Also your mind constantly thinks this will be the 'one'...
