That’s what I love about Fuji - that is a cool update with some useful features. They are the only manufacturer that adds gamechanging new abilities to cameras long after they are out, even at risk of cannibalising their own sales. When I got internal F-Log and 120fps 1080 on my X-T2 over 2...

    Surface Pro 6 with LR

Hi Stuart, Yes I am using previews and sync. I am also dabbling with Affinity photo and Designer, which I am very impressed with. I did consider the 12.9, for quite a while, however as I was going to travel with it I settled on the 11” cellular model with 512gb storage. The improvements...

    Surface Pro 6 with LR

I know it’s not the Surface but I thought as iPads came up in the discussion that I’d throw in what I’ve found so far in using the new 11” iPad Pro - it’s a dream! So, so fast at import and edit. I use Lightroom and Photoshop and for video I’m dabbling with LumaFusion and I couldn’t be happier...

    Nikon Z6 and Z7 mirrorless

I’ve seen a few YouTube comparisons recently and the Z6 is coming out on top of the A7iii in most of them, which I found surprising.

If anyone is after an X-T3, Amazon are doing it over five payments, no finance. You just pay it over five months. You have to have Prime and have the option enabled in your settings.

Thanks. Stupidly, I saw your post previously only after I had asked the question. As others have said, this photo could have some real value! Also, it’s depressing how good looking he is that he looks like he’s in a photo shoot while crossing the street.

    Black magic cinema 4k launch

Got one on order but there are a lot of hurdles to overcome shooting this thing BUT the image looks incredible at the price point. Already looking at a SmallHD screen to mount and hoping for some good cages to arrive.

More and more glad I decided to stay with the X-T2, thanks to some wise comments on here. Since putting it firmly in the back of my mind that I would be missing out by not buying the X-T3, I have really been enjoying this fantastic camera. So much so that when it is eventually time to trade up...

I went in to my local Jessops to enquire and they said they had plenty of stock. While I wouldn’t say it wasn’t selling, it is a contrast to the X-T2 which I had to pre order to get and were very hard to get hold of for a couple of months after release. Maybe that’s just because now...

I did know it was Samyang! Quite ironic that my iPhone autocorrected to Samsung.... Cheers guys, they look like good bang for buck lenses. Good to hear one positive reviews!

Anyone have any experience with the Samsung (and other) manual lenses for Fuji? I’m after a decent cheap manual mainly just so I’m forced to use it and improve my skills. Also they seem to be a cheaper way to get a wider aperture lens.

Yep I’m staying with the X-T2 and will upgrade to the X-H2 when it comes - IBIS and the new AF with 4K 60 is pretty much guaranteed and those are the killer features for me. For stills the X-T2 already takes brilliant photos. Gonna use that spare time to buy some more glass!

Put SD card in iMac disk slot by mistake

DON’T take the screen off unless you know what you are doing - the bit that’s magnetic and comes off easy is just a plastic cover and you’ll need to then remove the actual screen which has about 8 screws (quite recessed) in either side. From there you need to be very careful about removing the...

It was like that with the X-T2. I can see this being just as popular.

D’oh…SD card fails during Tony Northrups Canon EOS-R review

Interesting to see all the Northrup hate (not just here but on other forums too) , I’ve always found their videos to be quite informative and they are well shot - I think what people forget about YouTube is that there’s millions of hours of content available FREE of charge, if you don’t like a...

Good question. I would say that video is my primary function of the camera because that’s the only thing that helps me professionally (as said previously, as an aspiring screenwriter, creating short videos with actors to set a scene/showcase dialogue is become increasingly important). I don’t...

Thanks for all the help guys. I am going to keep the X-T2, already a fabulous camera, and I’m now on the look out for the best prime I can get for £500, probably the 35mm F2 This actually gives me a good upgrade path as I’ll either go for the X-H2 when it’s eventually released as IBIS will be...

Thanks all. Guess it’s only a tough decision because of the trade in bonus. The X-T3 will never be as cheap as it will be in the first month due to that. Glass makes more sense I guess and I do still have some learning to do with the X-T2. Another thing I want to start is some YouTube film...

Still in two minds, maybe you guys could assist in my decision... I have an X-T2, has it since launch and I love the camera. It’s my first ‘good’ camera and I chose it mainly because as I’m learning, having the manual dials has been very beneficial. Since I’ve had it I’ve taken it on holidays...

Got a good offer from Park for my X-T2, Vertical grip and one of the cheaper XC lenses I don’t use - a grand with the £200 extra. That means the X-T3 is about £350. Why then do I not feel like I wanna get rid of the X-T2? Something about it being the last X camera from Japan makes me feel like...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Think I might update. I love the X-T2 and there are no huge reasons for going for an X-T3 (touch screen, mic jack with no grip, 4K 60 are all nice to have rather than need for me) but at the trade in prices, it seems sensible to maximise the value of my current gear and pay the 400 -500 on top...

Yeah I've got it for precisely that reason. It's only for occasional use so didn't wanna pay out for the XF version. I'm very impressed. Did some shots at a wedding of speeches on a stage and I was on the other side of the reception room, light was lowish and it still stayed nice and sharp with...

Hi All, Took my X-T2 to a couple of events recently (a charity ball and a wedding) and have had mixed results. At the ball I only got a few good shots as it was pretty dark. I ramped the ISO as much as I could but there were a lot of blurry photos. At the wedding I got some fantastic shots...

Best starter lenses for Fuji X system

I've got the 18-55mm and I love it. Sharper than many give it credit and the OIS is good. Also if you're buying an X-T2 new it makes sense to get it as you're getting the lens about £150 cheaper. Other than that, I'm probably gonna get the 55-200mm and a Prime, most likely the 35 f2.
