I know in this world its a case of you get what you pay for but I would like to know if anybody has/used one of the cheap macro ring flash set ups you see on ebay / amazon ,

managed to get yesterday wasn't to bad nice pleasant day , quite a few seals about hopefully got some decent pics , going to try again in a couple of weeks when it gets a bit busier , was worth it though ,

its not bad noise at 400 but its creeping in enough to put me off by 800 its bad ( in my eyes ) practically when I compare to others

captive breed (not by me ) lovely little moth about 4 to 5 inch wing span
tried the solid background was the only colour i could lay my hands on to a green colour , might not be the best choice
but the moths nice if the picture isn't , advise welcome

wasn't sure were to post these as its captive breed , had a poor hatching with these out of the half dozen I had this little fellow was the only one not to suffer from deformed wings ,(the others struggled to get out of their pupa in time to pump their wings up fully )
