New here and looking for some guidance....

@rob-nikon the TS6350 should be fine as it has the separate inks. I have always found Canon printers to be good. I normally use BlueBox inks from premierphotographic instead of Canon inks which are a fraction of the price of Canon cartridges.

How to Set D3200 to Always Use Self Timer?

I'm not sure that you can. Better to get a wireless remote. They are not that expensive.

    Weekly GarethB's 52 challenge for 2019 - Week 45 - SHORT

Lovely colours in the image. Thought about straws for this one as well but did not have any in the house or know where to get them locally. Too late as well to get them out of a field!

    Two takes on Autumn

I agree with losing the half leaf but I would also have tried to photoshop the top leaf over the branch rather than underneath.

@Dave70D I too have COPD and had pleurisy the year before last. Had strong anti-biotics for 5 days or so. I did feel cr*p for a couple of weeks and lacking in energy for a month or so but the worst bit was the pain in my upper back which I had for months (so many strong painkillers I worried I...

How safe would you feel out alone with your camera equipment ?

I am a girl but don't bother about it in the daytime. Even though I'm normally out on my own, I guess it is pretty quiet around where I live. But night-time - went out a couple of times on my own but it was a bit scary. I don't like the dark at the best of times but I felt really uncomfortable...

Do you want a TP 2020 Challenge ?

It will be good to join in next year @Gandalf - it will give you something to focus on and it is amazing how many of the themes you can do without going too far from the door.

Do you want a TP 2020 Challenge ?

I'm going to 'advertise' it within my group at the CC for next year. A few of them were going to do it this year but didn't start. They don't know what they are missing!

Nostromo Here again TP52 (2019) Wk: 43/44 Spooky

Love the flower image - the composition, flower - just everything about it screams perfect. And the spooky one - I have one of those in the garage - called heuch up here in Scotland. Great for cutting long grass and bracken.

Thank you all. I have to say I have had more compliments on my dog shots here than I have had from my club competition judges!! I do so enjoy photographing them. It's a bit of a challenge. Had to borrow the skeleton from the little girl next door - not something I would normally have lying...
