As mentioned I am using a 3rd party en-el18 battery with 3rd party charger for it. Works perfectly and did not cost much at all.
I got the grip and, surprisingly, when using 3rd party D4/D5 batteries in the grip they work fine! And they last more than twice as much as the...
All with the 200-500mm. Exif should be intact if you download the file? If not then all are at f7.1 if not mistaken and quite large crops (almost...
Here you are :)
From my experience. I never use the D750 except if the bird is very close and can fill at least 20% of the frame or if the light is very low.
It's the 2000x that seem to have issues. My 1000x works well at the moment.
IMHO the D500 is not about just image quality which is close to the D7200.
It's about the FPS and, most importantly, the great AF. Also the tilt...
Exif is intact.

Not resized, just cropped
Something to compare high iso & DX-FX when length limited

My local shop said they should have one for me next week, fingers crossed.

A few from today. Piebald blackbird, song thrush and blackbird feeding on berry
Lens has been released in the UK approximately a month ago. My local LCE had a few in stock
Could not replicate the recall AF issue and mine was one of the first lenses released, strange...
DSTE ones worked really well for me.
From my first tests I think I would keep the Nikon 200-500. Could change my mind though ;)
I have both the Sigma and the Nikon. The Nikon is a little sharper and the bokeh is smoother. The Sigma's AF is a little faster but does not feel...
Only £1026 on amazon UK!
500mm 5.6, ISO 800, D7200
The pf is sharper at 300mm but when you add teleconverters then the 200-500 catches up (when using the 1.4x) and becomes sharper when using the...
A positive comparison here :
I reported to sigma as soon as i received my Canon fit 150-600 the issues with the AF with the Sigma 1.4x TC and they brushed it off...
The way the AF on the v2 works (similar to live view AF on a dslr) means that no micro adjustment is needed with lenses.
It is not my rain cover :) I just gave a company the exact dimensions to make one. And it is not a rain cover, it is a camo cover.
