Blimey! that Spitfire looks close.
Excellent shot Harry.
I did wonder if it was a C172. I did quite a few hours in those in the late 1980s but never as a camera ship, although it was quite...
Very nice Harry.
May I ask what type of aircraft you shoot from?
Great photos Gary, you’ve caught some wonderful expressions.
Thanks for that Simon. That was how I saw it originally and now don’t know which of the first and last I prefer! (n)
Striking image of the tiger Joel.
The thing that slightly spoils it for me are the OOF leaves that look a lot like oak, meaning it’s a zoo shot....
Thanks for the comments and the suggestion John.
I tried to crop them roughly in line with the rule of thirds but will try your suggestion and see...
Thanks for the kind comment Gary.
It was a spur of the moment shot during a family gathering on Christmas Day, with lighting provided by an on...
Cracking photo Nigel. I really like the colours and composition and I agree with Dale that it would look good on a wall or calendar.
Great capture and editing Joel.
With scary eyes and a smiling mouth it reminds me of a girl I once knew!
My Great Nephew and his superior friend, well she thinks she is!
Looks to be breathing on his paws to keep them warm!
Beautiful, so atmospheric I can almost feel the cold.
Super action shot Toni, she looks to be doing 100mph!
Just two of what seemed like dozens of Goldfinches, but was probably about 20, who repeatedly emptied our feeders in short order during last...
Really nice series Simon.
I like them all but it’s the last one that stands out for me, although I love the IOM symbol pose in the others.
The latest, and probably the final, version.
I got rid of the pedestrians then cropped more or less as suggested but ensuring his eye is on a...
I thought it was possibly more than you intended. I'll have another go but may not post it otherwise we'll end up going around for ever! :)
Nicely done Lee.
Thanks for the comments everyone, the b&w version is my favourite and Ricky's too.
I've cropped as per your suggestions, or did I go too far? I...
I like them all but love the backlit one.
The first one is a real aaaaaaaah moment, missing tail and all.
Cracking shots Mick, I like them all.
This is my hairdresser, Ricky, taking a short break.
All critique welcome particularly any comments on the B&W conversion.
I think the deafening silence here tells me all I need to know about this image, so it’s on it’s way to the bin! :(
Note to self; must try harder. (n)
No idea I’m afraid. My wife was given a bunch of them about 3 weeks ago but whether they were grown in the UK or somewhere warmer I couldn’t say.
 :$ Done!
Having seen the excellent still life shots on here I've hesitated somewhat before posting this one fearing that it may be shot down in flames!...
They've got quite sweet faces really and you've caught them well.
I'd also have been tempted to take a few shots, but with a 12-bore not a camera!
