I went out with my 1955 MINOLTA Autocord and the Rokkor lens. I was loaded with one of the last 1993 dated ORWO NP22 films in my 'fridge --- I rated it 100ASA and processed in liquid 'Promicrol 1+14' for 12 mins which is a very good combination for ORWO NP22.

The film choice — and its process — seems to limit the DR quite
substantially to 7 or 9 shades in addition to the clear presence of
Newton's ring. Maybe this combination would be more judiciously
use on less contrasty subjects.

I like you eye on composition, Peter!

the Epson 2480 flatbed scanner is a newer version than my 1650 and was given -- BUT it had NO 'film holders so I had to put negs onto glass trying to separate them with a home-made paper mask. I have only ONE MORE 120 size ORWO NP22 left out of a bulk buy years ago before ORWO went broke.
