Hi, was staying in Cornwall recently and didn't have the best of weather but here are two images that I like, one is actually from Devon when I decided to drive over for a Astro shoot and stayed there for sunrise. The Astro image is in the Astro section.

2 is utterly superb and a picture that works both technically and emotively for me. Really like the colour palette, composition and that sky is a treat.

Both are well processed by the way, in 1 I love what you have done with the rocks on the bottom and the lines in the cloud both leading in to the left. However, I feel like the view needs to show more to the left instead of the dead space RHS for this to really work and feel comfortable to look at. I'm sure there was something out of frame though that stopped you doing that perhaps.

#1 is great.

But #2 is on a completely different level.

The balance in #2 is great.

The shadows on the lhs balanced by the light on the rhs.

The symmetrical angle of the foreground rock with the jetty of land again gives it great balance.

You've got an actual proper S curve in there leading out towards the Sea and the light.

Dramatic looking sky.

Great colours and tones.

Lovely light.

Do landscape photographs get any better?
