Been quite a while since I last posted on here but not as long as the 20+ years since I last went to what for me will always be the Lombard RAC/Network Q Rally.
The last venture ending up with me coming home minus a car stereo and all my camera equipment after just a 10 minute pit stop in a public car park in Pickering, Yorkshire after a cancelled to spectators Kielder stage. Valuable lesson learned, nicked out of a locked boot by a chancer, not even in sight. Have never ever left my equipment unattended since.
Have only just ventured in to Lightroom in the last 2 months thanks to finally defecting to Apple and an iMac after my age old laptop with an equally old version of Elements packed up. So it's been a bit of a steep learning curve away from behind the camera.
Did all four days and took in the Rally Village, the ceremonial start at Conwy, Sweet Lamb, Dyfi, Aberhirnant, Alwen and Brenig stages.
Enjoyed the Rally Village and getting up close to the mechanics (not THAT close!). The weather was absolutely attrocious on the first day at Sweet Lamb though with a lot of distance and rain between me and the cars. Struggling with WB as I'd set to cloudy in camera and on Lightroom and the warm effect was too warm. Thinking I should just set to Auto. Also set really high ISO's, possibly too high (8000 at times) as I don't like grain. Any feedback welcome.

3. Ott Tanak's car being admired by a lucky photographer with access. Tank gave Ogier a scare on the final day winning almost every stage but not quite knocking enough time off the clock.
