2nd homes abroad - who has one?

Lots and lots of queueing/waiting around and being shuffled from pillar to post.

I messed up a few years back (blimey, it was 20!!!) and elected to pay a fine that I picked up in Lassithi province in Chania since paying in Lassithi would have involved changing travel plans. BIG mistake! If I'd paid in Lassithi, I could have simply handed over the €30 in any suitable office but to do the same in Chania meant visiting 4 or 5 offices to pay for stamps to stick on a form ("You must collect the form from X office first then come back for the stamps"...), get the form and stamps stamped then hand it over and get a receipt. That'll teach me to pass one of those rotovator powered tractors on the "motorway"!!!

and also just to add more cackolla you need to have all your english documents they ask translated into greek
