4 legs vs. 6 legs

My grandson called these "Hoppers", sounds about right to me.

3 is either a sawfly or Ichneumonid wasp but from that angle I cannot tell.

Are the grasshoppers considered to have 4 or 6 legs? Wondering if the back set are considered legs.

Grasshoppers do indeed have six legs they are an insect after all and the back set are huge as can be seen.
