40106/D306 Atlantic Conveyor at Irwell Vale this afternoon.

The Class 40 has been my favourite diesel since I used to watch them pulling Shell Oil tankers across the back of Ashton Heath from Haydock when I was a lad. All I have to do is hear that whine as they lay the power down and I'm 12 again :)

Such a naughty/dirty sound!
I like you feel like a young child again when i hear old diesels on the go.
