An F-15E Strike Eagle assigned to the 492nd Fighter Squadron is painted in the heritage colors of its World War II P-47 Thunderbolt predecessor at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England Jan 31. The 48th Fighter Wing officially unveiled the aircraft publicly during a ceremony on Jan 31.
