We were invited by the USAF's media department to photograph a pair of visiting A-10 tank busters! Whilst in the area, we also visited RAF Mildenhall.

I saw those two Warthogs flying low...ish over the Snetterton area on Tuesday afternoon (14th July). I wondered what they were doing in this area as there are none of these stationed locally. Quite an imposing sight when flying low as they were.
 
The A-10 is one of the ugliest planes, but in a good way :wacky: Maybe that's why it's called a Warthog. But its a very impressive aircraft, especially as it has THAT GUN!!

It looks like you had a good day that some would cut off their arm for. A nice set there but lot of the images look like they could use a bit of PP IMHO (y)
 
I find A-10s quite sexy :D I'd love to see them fly sometime :(
