A bit of light at Blea tarn

Went on a family walk but took the camera just in case (as always) very changeable weather which did make for some interesting conditions, thanks for looking.

I like it but would have a play with the contrast or maybe increased the blacks.

I just had a quick play with this in PS and a little curves adjustment could really lift this a lot.

Not my normal scene but it looks nice with good colour but the sky is artificially dark looking either though pp or too strong an nd grad

Sky wasn't much lighter than this it bought hail rain snow the works.

Some beautiful storm-light there Dave, I'm not sold on the comp though I'm afraid. My eyes keep darting from the Pikes to the trees beside the tarn.

It's a wonderful location isn't it? I've spent a lot of time there, the most memorable being after ascent of Harrison Stickle's SW Face with my ex, she had her feet in the tarn and the fish were nibbling away like in one of those strange salons!

Cheers Nick,only wish Id had more time to explore the area as it is a stunning place.as for the comp this was where the light was so tried and make the best of it.on the drive up the light was great with the changeable conditions .parked up and managed no more than 5 shots when the light disappeared sods law eh
