Beginner A couple from Southport Air Show

This was my first time shooting an air show - I usually take pictures of slow moving airliners! I was handholding a 150-600mm all day, in the cold, and trying to shoot at the lower shutter speeds for the prop aircraft was a nightmare. I'll definitely be investing in a monopod for the next lot of photos! Anyway, here's a couple of the better ones I managed to get:

I like those, nice sharp images. I hadn't realised this was on though I did hear one or two old-sounding aircraft during Sunday.
