B&W A couple of black & whites....

Been working on my black & white conversions whilst being laid up with a knackered ankle this past week....I do like moody shots, so a lot of my archive shots tend to work out well for black and white conversions....

Haha thanks @Kodiak Qc my black and white conversions have lacked something in the past, so really worked hard on them over this week being laid up

There are really moody, but I feel, personally, they are just a touch too dark in the sky.
Otherwise, great black and white images.

I like 1 but I saw the colour one and prefer it.
2 and 3 have a lovely contrast to them with the lovely white cottages against the dark skies.

1&2 for me mate, 3 is processed just as well but isn't as strong an image. 2 shades it's for me as it's a bit different from the norm of that shot

I like number 1 esp the sky but personally I think they're all a tad dark.

I personally don't think No.1 suits b+w at all, but really like No.2 and No.3 with the white hut popping out in the darkness. Its a great place and just cant wait to get back up there.

I know that dark stuff isn't everyones cuppa, and these are probably, well, they are the darkest B&W's i've done, but we can't please everyone all of the time

Nicely done Martin, no2 would be my pick from the 3. No1 isn't doing a great deal for me, the foreground feels a little flat with the tones being very similar in mono.

Great set. All good and well converted to mono. I like the dark skies - the mood is appropriate.
