A couple of bluebell shots

Went out for a quick wander to Burroughs Wood, near Ratby in Leicestershire earlier in the week.

There's usually a fab display of bluebells and this year was no exception.

Sadly the weather wasn't playing ball and the light was drab, but sometimes this can be useful I've found.

Anyway, here's a couple of shots I tried in different orientations to try and capture the extent of the flowers, see what you think:

Lovely images. We live in a location where there is bright sun nearly all year long. Will drop everything and all plans to get our to shoot when an overcast days is predicted. Appreciate your blessings. The drab light makes light nicely uniform to shoot beneath. Looks like you enjoyed your day anyway.
