A Day On May.

Two "Cracking" shots, nothing more to be said.

George.

lovely shots
did you use exp comp or spot metering for the second shot ?

Nuffin' beats a Puffin, Dale - and these crackers are proof (y)

Russ

Cheers Russ.

A great start, glad you had a good day. With that sky, and the detail you've pulled out it looks like the weather gods were smiling on you

Mike

Thank you Mike, the light was variable, between cloud and bright sun, so tried to shoot somewhere in between.

Thas a couple of really, really good Puffin Shots. Superb detail and colour,

Thanks.

Great shots Dale.
The in flight one's a belter.

Cheers Bob, a very good day.

Thanks you George.

I wanted the sand eels shot, so mission accomplished but there's a sprat in there too.

Centre weighted average for that one, I'd already set up exposure wise as best I could, exposing to the right as much as I dare whilst watching the blinkies on the whites but to be honest, with such quick changing light and these little things flying about like bombs, exposure was never going to be nailed and some post was needed. If you get a half decent exposure, the amount of detail within the files is staggering.

I love these birds, they look so delicate but majestic on the wing. I don't think I got a decent in flight of one though, what better reason to go back to May?
