Visited a friend and took the cameras out for a little trip to get the red squirrel and the pine marten which was coming to woodland near his home.

The Pine Marten image nearly never happened. I gad the 70-200 with me which wouldnt focus but did it manually. The Marten turned up and it was pitch dark when i moved tge focus- unable to focus manually in the darkness i lifted the other set up with the 200-500, i took one shot with flash to gain focus a bit and then took this shot and luckily it was pretty close. It was a bit too long at the 200mm short end but got it in frame which again was more luck than anything.
