A few pics of my fishtank

My dentist has two quite large aquariums in the waiting room. One he calls me
to ask that I shoot some interesting features. I faced the same problems that
you do here, and this was a solution that I applied to one of your take:
Sure, you could do better with the RAW!

Nicely captured there. That's a good marine setup you have there. We only have freshwater tropical aquariums and shrimp tanks. I think your results came out well.

Nice unusual idea. I agree they should be brighter. Make sure the tank glass is as clean as you can and I am sure these could improve with more practise.

I recently shot a mates tank used a 1.8 lens and iso 2500, so hard to hit focus with shallow dof and a fast moving fish
I think you've done ok ;)

Nice tank you have there.
I have a 550lt reef tank myself .
Going to have a go at some shots myself sometime, still on MH lights so my be a bit easier.

Was it difficult to get that copperband to feed?

Yes, unfortunately he passed away not long after these were taken. He was happily eating Mysis, brine and flake, but then just stopped.
