Beginner A few plant macros

I like the artistic nature of these, maybe just a tiny bit more contrast might benefit the first two, more the first image, just to define the shadow areas a touch more which will probably define the subject textures a little better.

I see what you mean. I might even get away with just darkening the blacks in the first one.
 
Nice to see some different subject matter and approach.

I can see Tim's point about contrast. We are deep into personal taste territory here I think, so this is strictly FWIW, which may be "not much thank you!" :D But here is what I ended up with when I played with them. I didn't actually touch the contrast as such, but I think some of what I did increased the contrast as a side effect. Obviously, feel free to ignore.
