Excellent set all brilliant detail focus etc

Perfect lighting as per usual. All best viewed large on Flickr for proper detail.

Not overly keen on central composition of #3 but that may just be me.

Wonderful Neil my favourite is the grasshopper brilliant portrait
Light is spot on too in all of them

"Excellent" set of images Neil, great detail, good composition & exposure.(y)

George.

WOW, so sharp and colours are so vivid as well. Great set. Love them all
Thanks

Loving #6
Cheers rob

Great pic
The detail in number 6 is incredible
Thanks Carl

Cheers bud, I know what you mean about the central composition, me just being a bit lazy and not cropping on that one!

Thank you George

Great set. Fantastic and so sharp.
Out of interest, what lens did you use?
Thank you! Tamron 60mm F2

Good set Neil. Well controlled lighting. Even in the worst case #6 the flash highlight looks relatively unobtrusive. Very good.
The more I look at them, the more I like #4. It somehow feels a bit special to me.
Thanks Nick, I believe thats a False Widow but not 100%

All superb but # 6 is my fav, think its a legion fly ? and how are you diffusing the light please ?
Thanks Andy and thanks for ID.

Incredible detail, as good as it gets really, 1 and 6 my favourites. Just getting into macro, if I can get anywhere near this in the next year or two, I'll be a very happy man. Well done:clap:.

Really nice Neil, I particularly like both spider shots, especially the one guarding it's egg sac. What did you shoot the cross spider against to give it the white background?

Thanks Adrian, very kind of you.

On second thoughts im definitely wrong :) more like Hybotidae. Dance fly but i'm sure someone will correct me.
Thanks Andy, I will have a search see what I can find out!

Thanks Tim, the Garden Spider was suspended on a gate post which was against a white wall.
