Yesterday I was out on a small boat down a ~ 5 mile canal starting off just after sunrise and finishing just before lunch.............I had set the auto ISO at 800 with 1/2000 meaning that most of the shots were shot at an ISO of 800................ personally I wouldn't do that again when shooting small birds as even shooting with a pro level camera body any correction to the noise soften the birds feathers to much for my liking.............now whether that is due to my inability to make proper post process corrections .....maybe so
Saying all that I am very open to tips and advice on learning more with regard to the PP process related to birds
1/. Caught in the web

4/ Blue Tail Bee Eater
5/. Kingfisher
