A few artistic, a few more portrait style. I'm hoping to get some good critique on these as I'm fairly new to shooting humans and could use all the pointers I can get.

I find these really hard to comment on. I really like the photos, especially like how you played with the shadow on the second one. There is nothing to dislike about any of them to me. Yet for some reason, and it annoys me more than it should you, they don't wow me like wow great photos. I can't put my finger on it what it is. I'm sorry I wish I could say something more constructive. But as you invited and encouraged feedback I wanted to provide some rather than leaving it....

Hope that makes sense.

For the composition, the light and the conversion, my pick
is number five.

Three subjects and two ways to direct them. The woman in
the converted renditions is the better way and results. The
two others are relatively decent technically but the direction
is clumsy when compared to the B&W portrait session.

I like number 6. I dont like 8.7. 3.2. Something makes them look odd.

The first 3 are a good direction. Great light, specially on the second one.
On the second one I feel the horizontal framing doesn't work. The cut in the neck is a little hard for the softness of the image.

The rest just feel like snaps in comparison.

I would work more on composition. Be careful with the cuts on the sides of the images.
