The kestrel has always been one of my bogey birds. I eventually geta decent shot but there is a sheeps dirty ar$e in the background! Kestrel by nc_killie, on Flickr Fortunately the pair stayed so I got some OK shots Kestrel by nc_killie, on Flickr
No 2 for the background and perch- if only the bird was as in no 1! Are they baited or is that a natural kill? Regen
Very nice takes John. Have you done something to the head in the first shot it seems a to have a deeper yellow bit on the left side of the sear and it really stands out
I am looking forward to connecting with mine again this year ,i may make more of an effort with them considering they are in the same area as the owls ,a couple of decent perches for them to land on,was this baited John.
Nope minimal processing and nothing done to head. Merci,Mon Ami. C'est tres bien. Guess I need to practice my pp skills! I woudl loive to say that I spent hours watching them, determining where they went with prey and then crept up on them with a nice background (sheeps ar$e excepted) but they were baited! Thank you for taking the time to look and comment (and edit)!!
